Bailey + John | Fernbank Museum Atlanta Wedding
I have known Bailey and her family since she was a toddler – it just so happens that they were neighbors of ours growing up, and my younger brother and sister went to school with Bailey and her sister. So when Bailey’s amazing momma called me to inquire about photographing their upcoming sacrament and reception, I was beyond thrilled!!
You may remember Bailey and John from their Washington, DC engagement session at the Jefferson Memorial. Anyone that knows me understands that I am not a morning person. However for these two, I flew up to DC with my oldest son and got my 16 week pregnant self up at 4:30am to capture this amazing sunrise engagement session with them along the Tidal Basin. It is literally my favorite engagement session to date, and I’m so glad I got to do it!
These two lovebirds are living outside of DC and I couldn’t have been happier with how their perfect wedding day turned out! After a traditional catholic mass and some photos outside of the gorgeous Holy Spirit Catholic Church, we moved down to Fernbank Museum of Natural History for their reception! Lexis with The Aisle coordinated the day and the decor of the venue in such a beautiful, organic way. It was as if the dinosaurs were an afterthought! Such a gorgeous room! The Cashmere band kept the guests dancing until last call – they are such a fun and interactive band!! Bailey + John, it was such an honor to capture your day, I wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
